Very elegant and classy! Best italian ever. Caeser salad was amazing and extremely large portion. Lasagna portion was snall for the price but the best lasagna ive ever had!

The amazing bursts Of flavor coming from these magnificent dishes is intense! The ambience is breathtaking! The staff is beyond friendly. Jeff and his team bring you an exquisite product and make the trip well worth it! The pasta is to die for! The appetizers are exquisite! Please... I urge you... You need to be here! Tavola Nostra Pizzeria e Cucina is a wonderful Italian restaurant with a focus on wood fired pizza. The menu features two different pizza styles with a combination of classic and modern toppings. You can even sit at the bar and watch the chefs bake each pizza in their wood fire oven. Aside from pizza you’ll find authentic pasta dishes, meatballs, fresh large-portioned salads, and some of the best calamari around (non-greasy nor over fried). And the wine selection includes wines from both Italy and California.

10/10!!!!! You know it’s good food when the only photo you take is a clean plates. Ordered the pasta marsala and penne all’arrabbiata pasta with spicy sausage. Both pastas were incredibly rich in flavor, great portion sizes (literally the perfect amount), and had such a great bite! Great wine selection too. Such a cute place with white lights, music, and just really want. Perfect for a date night but also with a group. The servers were so amazing!!!! Can’t wait to go back already!!!!

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of dining here, and it was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for a wonderful evening. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Every dish was bursting with authentic Italian flavors. We started with the Brussels sprouts, hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked with a slight crunch on the outside, soft on the inside, not too sweet or burnt, truly addicting. The calamari was equally impressive: light, not too greasy, and beautifully balanced in flavor. For our main courses, I enjoyed the creamy, rich pasta marsala while my partner had the lasagna della mamma. Both were outstanding. My partner, who’s Italian, even said it was healing her soul because it tasted just like the one her mom makes. We paired our meal with a crisp glass of sparkling rose, and ended the night with their homemade tiramisu, which was the perfect finishing touch. You can really tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients. Overall, it was a memorable dining experience and I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic, soul-warming Italian cuisine and excellent service in the heart of Hillcrest!

Come here every time we are in town! Best calamari in the area! The servers are very nice. They made a fresh tiramisu for us even after the closed the kitchen, we really appreciated it! The pesto is a must! Pizza also has good bread and it’s fresh. New server Luis was very nice and helpful with recommendations too.

Best wine I’ve ever had. They have a great selection to choose from and each glass that I tried was so delicious. I also had the arugula salad and margarita pizza and both were 10/10. I’m already planning to come back within a week to try more menu items because they were that good! Definitely a must try!

Our server, Mark, was exceptional-his friendly demeanor and spot-on menu suggestions made the night memorable. He guided us through the menu with care, ensuring my mother felt comfortable and celebrated. The food was outstanding. The tomato bisque was rich and flavorful, a perfect start to the meal. We followed Mark’s recommendations and enjoyed the signature pinsas-Roman-style pizzas with a light, airy crust and delicious toppings. The lasagna was another highlight, layered perfectly and bursting with comforting flavors. Mark’s attentive service and the restaurant’s welcoming vibe turned what could have been a disappointing night into a celebration. La Tavola Nostra not only delivered excellent Italian cuisine but also created a heartfelt dining experience for our family.
